Cactus

This cactus was a gift. I moved a few years ago and it didn’t survive. I have been holding onto its dried out shell ever since. It looked good, even in death.

So the ex-girlfriend(s)…It might be cliché but gosh darn it most of the clothes I wore at on point were from them/her. This might not seem too uncommon but at a certain point one must rid themselves of old comforts…They weren’t my taste anyway….ha!

Recently, I moved into a new house with 4 other roommates. Turns out we had a lot of trash by the time we were done making our rooms “our’s.” We had couches, desks, microwaves, espresso machines, desk chairs, and A LOT of cardboard that we needed to get rid of. None of us realized, of course that we were entitled to two free bulk pick-ups a year from the trash company. So, we sat with all of these items for quite a while and when we finally called Sunset Scavengers to pick it all up, it was really sort of sad to see them go. The couch was in the middle of the kitchen, blocking our stove. The desk chair was in the middle of our living room. And the cardboard was strewn throughout our hallway. All of this JUNK was undoubtedly a burden. I still don’t know why it was difficult to put it all on the curb.
